Welcome

Nowra Rifle Club Inc is a licence approved Shooting Range, including
Target Shooting Club / Hunting Club / Collecting Club / Pistol Shooting Club
.

The Nowra Rifle Club Inc is one of the largest independent country rifle clubs in New South Wales.

Our aim is to promote the sport of target shooting and to help and encourage juniors and members in the safe use of firearms.

We are a multi-disciplined shooting club, shooting 14 different long arm codes and 8 pistol codes on 6 shooting ranges within our complex. Competitions are programmed to allow each code sufficient time to conduct their matches which are shot in a friendly but competitive manner. All shooters points scored over the year go toward the Club’s Yearly Awards.

A club approved range officer is in attendance whenever shooting is in progress.

Nowra Rifle Club Inc is affiliated to many state and national shooting bodies for those members who wish to pursue their sport at a higher level than club level, several codes host Prize Shoots during the year.

The Navy, NSW Police, Parks and Wildlife, Corrective Services and private security firms also utilize the club’s facilities for training.

In order to cater for the club’s high level of activity the members have gone to considerable expense to provide modern facilities. To date in excess of $400,000 has been spent upgrading the range. The club has a positive commitment to continuing the upgrading of our facilities.

Visitors with a firearms license are able to use the General Practice Range on Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. General practice is also run on the last Saturday of the month from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm.

The range fee is $30.00 for adults, free for juniors who have a Junior Firearms Permit.

NOTE: Please make sure you have the correct amount in cash as there are no card facilities at the range and the range officers may not have change.
